Wonderful for keloid scars, and scars that you feel never healed quite right. A herbal poultice will be applied to the scar tissue along with some massage and very gentle cupping. Some clients find dramatic visible results from just one scar treatment session!
Prenatal/Postpartum Thai Massage
Prenatal Prenatal Thai Massage focuses on gentle, relaxation focused massage in the side lying position, along with extensive use of warm herbal compresses. A wonderful way to calm the mind and ease tension in the low back, hips and shoulders. Prenatal massage is contraindicated within the first trimester of pregnancy.
Postpartum Postpartum is the most important time for a new mother's self care, though it is often the most difficult time to try to fit it in. Postpartum Thai Massage focuses on rebuilding essence and reducing excess Water element. Massage, hot salt compresses and warming balms and liniments help relax muscles, reduce water and calm the mind. Abdominal massage can be wonderful at this time for the uterus as it returns to its pre-pregnancy size. Postpartum massage is contraindicated for the first month after giving birth.
